nice. yah, i have the Mighty Bright they make for pedalboards. mines is weird though. the white goes darker when you click the red on. might grab one of two of those to try.

lol. i just REALLY like to have as little extra shizz to remember when gigging y'know?

sooooooo? do they help you see pedals or more for aesthetic pleasure?

lol. or do they actually hurt your ability to see your loot in low light?

i'm trying to find a solution. we've played a few shows lately where even though i ask the sound guy or lights guy to PLEASE DON'T EVER GO ALL THE WAY DARK ON STAGE, they still do some times. and that just screws me. i have to click between too many things and shtuff.

I have the same LED strips under my board, but in red, and for me it's aesthetic only - doesn't help show up the pedals on a dark stage any better at all... but it just looks COOL :)

I do take a bit of flack for it, but it's like xzibit pimped my pedalboard :)

yeah, they are definitely bright enough at 9v...

How do you like the Myco Three? I am beyond satisfied with my dirt at the moment, (Source Audio OFD, Brimstone Crossover Distortion, and TAFM) but that pedal has always interested me. I don't need one, I don't need one, I don't need one, I don't need one, I don't need one.

I love it.. ended my search, well I quit looking after the myco. Its the best tube overdrive out there IMO but probably doesn't have the versatility as others ods. I'm more than satisfied.

What's happening? This thread on third page?

I'm getting somewhere with my rack drawer. Slowly, but I'm getting there :)
Had a huge testing session yesterday and this is what came out.

I was really surprised that in the end, I preferred that old school - somehow midrangeheavy - sound of the Guv'nor over than the VFE Alpha Dog (which is a veeeeeery versatile rat/fuzz/OD...). It was cutting more through everything.

Just keep in mind, that there are two signal paths. One is from the P-Split to the Fender TBP-1 and with the newly aquired sfx Loop, the Empress and the Thumpinator in the FX way.
The other signal path is from the P-Split to the G-System with those three dirties in the Loops.
The sfx loop is controllable with the relais of the G-System. The multi fx of the dirty signalchain is actually muting the clean signalchain :hyper:

How good is that :)

Here's that beautiful thing again. Thx Max!

Glad you liked the TAFM! Do you use it as more of a subtle effect, or for all our Fuzzy craziness?

Here's my board. I've been dialing in the signal chain, but I really like experimenting with it, so who knows how it'll look tomorrow.

Not pictured:
* Tech 21 Bass Boost Fuzz. I think it's a very underrated fuzz, and I'm gonna try to squeeze it on here.
* EHX Bass Micro Synth. I don't use it all that much but I can't bring myself to sell it.
* Boss BF-2. Eh, not too stoked on it.

I'm pretty happy with this setup, and I really want to give it a fair shake, so for now my gas has been tempered. But I have been known to have a wandering eye. :eyebrow: I would like a nice chorus, and I definitely need to address the tap dancing, so maybe I'll use the VT's loop, or get a Boss LS-2. Or...a Wonderlove. I don't know if having several large pedals is a blessing or a curse!

You know, I'm not sure yet. I have to say, the ability to have subtle fuzz with clarity makes this pedal better than anything I have tried. As I'm sure you know, as a church bassist, my tonal needs change from week to week, but I see the TAFM fitting very nicely into my dirt mix. I'm pretty impressed with it. I definitely see why it is so popular. Very refreshing to see something live up to the hype.
