Welp, It's messy, but it's a big improvement from the last time I did my board. Everything sounds great together. Now if I could just get my New Strymon's and Neo Mini Vent to stop popping when I turn them on that would be nice. Bought new livewire cables, isolated power cables so they're not touching audio cables, every pedal is going through it's own isolated power section on the PP2+ and the Cioks Big John, and ran everything through my Monster Power Conditioner. I think this is why I'm going to be paying a pro to do my pedalboard this year so I can stop worrying about my amateur job!1390098810001.jpg

it's.... it's just CRAZY good. i was kinda scared 'cause she's worked with so many people i love. System of a Down, Joanna Newsome...... BJORK WHO IS MY GODDESS.

but she's the nicest person. super into the music and so just.... energetic and inspiring. most comfortable i've ever been recording and love how it's going.

it's just me and my drummer, and her and the engineer, Ian, seem really into it. could not be happier right now.

WOOOOOOOOO!

Latest iteration... took the TU-2 out, to provide a bit more space and bring back the Planet Waves patch cables. The pancake cable and other metal connectors changed the tone and brought way too much noise for my taste. This set-up is very quiet, Elmer Fudd qwweye-it.

I find myself having practically no GAS these days, which is a welcomed state of mind with the XMAS bills coming in. No GAS for a Tech21 BassDriver to replace the PBDDI and gain space, no GAS for the Micro-Thumpinator and certainly none at all for the upcoming MXR Phase 99. No sireeee, no GAS at all...

:o Hello, it's me again ... I wasn't going to do this so soon but I changed the board yet again and with some
maybe surprising results ... I have not been friends with the Wonderlove filter but I tried moving the compressor
in front of it - I know this goes against the conventional wisdom but the dynamics from the bass (or rather the
lack of control from my fingers :eyebrow:) was just a bit problematic - and with a little compression (I have it on
a quite mild squeeze) I found it's now much easier to control the filter.
