PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

how's that ZVEX Channel 2 working out for you....been thinking of getting one

I love it. It's a nice flavor to have when you're looking for a little bit of OD or sometimes I'll put it last in the chain to the amp if I need to drive a long cable and treat it like a buffer since it has 5M ohms at low gain settings.

This has been a work in progress for, well... since I got the board. Anyway, my dirt has totally changed, but I think I'm getting close to good.

posted this in a few places now, used it on a gig for the first time last night and its wicked! a few things will move to underneath the board like the feed me and the radial di for my meatbox as i want to squeeze a trem on and a fuzzrocious moth and afterlife/anomalies custom the Es-8 is a serious game changer! and def worth the space it takes up!

Still a bit of a work in progress... Probably going to move the Ventura or the Obscura up into the empty space and add a Li'l Buddy next to the Sneak Attack. This is a downsize from a PT-Pro, which I found too cumbersome. I'm liking the Temple board. A Trio 21. It's a little finicky to set up, but once it's put together it's nice and clean.

Chain right now is:
Beta>Cali76>Octron>Meatbox>Bass Fuzz>Harmonic Percolator>Sneak Attack>Obscura>Ventura>Radical Red Reverb

I'm thinking about moving the Sneak Attack further up the chain, as the sensitivity is a little hard to dial in where it's currently at. Or maybe I'll leave the SA where it is and move the Cali right in front of it to even things out.

You know I dont really use the Lo-Fi on the Obscura all that much. Ill have to fix that. I noticed you have the degrade dimed, is that the secret to the Lo-Fi?

Is the placement of your Octron2 a bit not a bit unpractical? I like to switch the octaves (up/down) on and off during different parts of a song, sometimes even switch of the dry signal and only use the octave. With the placement of your Octron2 this would be very difficult.

Yeah that's a good point. I only really use one sound on the Octron right now, but it would probably be a good idea to swap it with the RRR for easier access.
