Yes. Both of them are made by Cioks. The 8 is powered directly from the DC7. Those two make for a powerful, versatile combination.

Most of the pedals are daisy chained. The Volt Thrower 1590bb does not like sharing power so that one gets its own port. There are a couple others as well.

I love Cioks power supplies. I use a DC7 on my much smaller board.

Back to the Novo 18 at practice tonight and will use the Novo 24 as my fun/home board if this setup delivers the goods. RB may be a game changer for me, but I need to give it a couple more weeks of rehearsals to make sure the rest of the board jives with it.

Unintentionally. I was just bumping the controls a lot since that little gap in the rails is where I pull the board out of the road case. So I threw the tape on for knob markers and that was the only spot to do it.

Also ended up pairing my Damnation Bloop with the RB and subbed my Collider on for the Walrus Delay, since the Collider fits better. Really loving how the whole setup sounds though...probably my most cutting and well defined 'clean' and dirt tones yet.

Temporarily moving to a bigger board, even though the board itself is a little bigger than I need. Not super-neat, but I can quickly repatch or swap pedals in and out if I want. Plus, I positioned pedals so I can run DI at any point...HX, Photon, or BassRig.

Knowing me I'd either bump the amp knobs, or, just as likely, step on them and bend or break a shaft.

After just a little bit of time with this arrangement, I'm already thinking about downsizing.

The OBNE Signal Blender showed up today, so I (somewhat sloppily) wired this up. It's definitely not finished, but the idea works as intended. Loop A goes into channel 1 of the EQ2 for low and high passing, then into the dirt. Loop B goes into channel 2 for much lower low passing. Along the way, I want to put a flavorful compressor in Loop A (and maybe a multiband compressor in Loop B), as well as an octave divider in Loop B.

Making tweaks to my board… putting the GR2 back on cause it sound so good with the Parabellum and the VT, cause well, it's just the best dirt pedal ever.

This is what I've been bringing to rehearsal for a few weeks now. CIOKS DC7 and a Broughton HPF under the board. Sometimes I bring an expression pedal for the XD. TI Flats on the Bacchus. Going direct through some Bose towers.
