No change,....just fart.

Ahoy, Warwick... Do you have anything running in your Opti-Fet's loop? And if so, what?

I'm curious about signal blending, and about the Opti-Fet (I think I need a limiter for my envelope filter + fuzz combinations).

Cheers, and, impressive board, as always!

(and your bass is ok... I guess...):p

Nothing in the loop,....

My understanding is that the loop is more for ducking type purposes. I could be wrong,...I've never investigated the loop but could see it coming in handy for recording.

Here is an article I dug up with a google search if you are unfamiliar with ducking and sidechaining.

If you are looking for hard peak limiting,...the Opti-FET might not be the right choice (admittedly going off of Bongo's review) but it does do a good job of keeping everything in check for my needs.

I am running the makeup gain a little hot and it's pushing my amp a little harder then I'd like when I'm feeding back, fuzzing and noising out.

Cheers

:)

I know where you can score a PT Pro.....

man..... WOOF. i appreciate that, but i sold my old PT-Pro 'cause i can't stand how heavy everything is with the case. unloaded even. that's what'll probably turn me off the PT-3. there's a company that makes sexy, SEXY boards... i might just suck it up and have them make me one. they stay pretty light..... i dunno.

kinda silly since i'm not gigging right now. probably gonna wait until we have enough songs down to start thing about playing out before i do anything big upheaval like that.

murrrrrrrrrrr.

as always, Jamez'z'z'z Board = Chubba Doo.

Pardon my crappy cell phone pic but here we go
pedalboard.jpg

Harmonist-> Blowtorch-> EVH Flanger-> Phase Shifter-> Holy Grail-> Boosta Grande-> TU-3-> Bass Wah

Oh and the whole thing is powered by a Dunlop DC Brick
And, the case it's in is a rolling suitcase. The little pillows I made out of a huge sheet of carpet underlay foam.

lulz. see? SEE??!? i have been IMPUGNED!!

how will you repair the damage done to my reputation SUH??!? HOW??!? that is IT. FUZZES at dawn! BRING A SECOND!! i WILL have my station from you!!!

....... i just watched Rob Roy. love that movie.

"Your wife was far sweeter forced than many are willing."

"It is years, Your Grace, since I buggered a boy. And in my own defence, I thought him a girl at the moment of entry."

THAT. is WRITING.

LOVE that movie.

Oky doky! Here is my board, about as complete as can be until I upgrade some pedals (no time soon, damn 'conomy).

But, all the basic noises are represented for me. At least for now... :D

Thanks Warwick. I'll keep searching for a good limiter. I just need something to keep control of the mad volume spike I'm getting when I switch on the envelope filter. Though a volume pedal is in my nearer future.

Ok, so I finished my second board as well. The big one is my "Volvo" board; sturdy/reliable/drives well, but not very sexy. Also it holds a lot of Scandinavian stuff on there...not that Volvo is all that scandinavian anymore.

The two fx10:s are for adjusting different basses.

And, I know I posted this just a while ago but wanted to get them in the same post...sorry:

This then, would be the US-made sportscar...

Hey man, can I ask what those patch cables are for the EBS pedals? I'd love a few myself.
