PYPB XXXIII - Effects are STOOPID

Doesn't it feel to you all that the pedalboard size fluctuates like a sine wave graph sometimes?
I started from zero and in 2 weeks had 10, then I sold most of them, now I'm back to 8-9...

I started with none. Bought the Bass Muff Pi and sold it. Bought the Wounded Paw Attack Goat and sold it. Bought the SFT and sold it. Got the Aguilar AGRO and it went downhill from there. I'm an a never-ended fuzz quest now. I mentioned I want to end up with like, 2-4 really solid fuzz pedals and switch them up when needed... but I'm scared I'm going to be buried in a giant cabinet with a custom bass and two boards full of fuzz pedals.

Think of the practicality of things. Is it necessary to have like 6 fuzzes with slightly different characteristics on your board (....yes) but in reality no. Sure there are many cool fuzz pedals out there that all sound awesome but how different are they really? Muff and a muff with a clean blend? That isn't necessary, probably why my Grey Stache beat out my PPB. Find 2-3 different fuzzes that work with your setup and stick with them, make them your sound. This goes with any other pedal too, find what works for you and don't f-ck with it.
Yeah, I'm happy with my fuzzes now and have a Bluebeard on the way.

Yes, like someone said - solid couplers. Actually, these are EBS own model (PL10), and they're the smallest I have found. Hosa makes another version, but it's a good centimeter wider.
EBS also makes an offset version (PL20) that you can see (sort of...) between the MXR filter and the Multicomp.
Saves you a ton of PB real estate!
Thanks a mil! I wonder though, are they only made in gold now because that seems to be the only color I can find. I'd much rather have the chrome.
I don't know if you can see, but half of the ones on my board are chrome and the other gold...
According to my dealer they're only making them in chrome now, they used to be available in either finish. Check with your dealer!

Longtime Lurker, First time poster...This picture was from lastnight, kind of an in between pic of my board and it is already obsolete. My FEA Labs Dual Band Distortion just showed up. Anyways.
In the next few weeks and days this board shall be pretty different and too small I am afraid. The SubWah is pretty awesome, it also has an envelope filter and autowah settings plus 2 Wah Voicings. The Barnacle rulz! MagicStomp may go off the board because of size, but I will still keep it. The MXR BOD has a shootout coming with an OC-2 soon.

Guitar Center has the small couplers in 3 packs for cheap. I got a couple planet wave ones thinking I needed the bigger spacing but one of them came in faulty
Here is my Synth, I stopped doing modular and got this. I have a ways to go before I have mastered this beast. I installed the pickup on my Mockingbird and got some picollo strings for better tracking.
