So I just finished playing around with my AGRO and JHS Lime Aid.

Y'know, I thought I was going to chuck the Lime Aid, but after playing around with it on and off and trying different settings, I think it's staying. I tried playing fast punk/grindcore riffs, doom riffs, powerchords, and just overly aggressive picking. The only thing I find is that I have to turn the volume up when it was engaged (and the volume is already at 3:00 on the pedal...), but overall it did actually improve the sound and removed a lot of excess noise.

The first week I got it I was disappointed and thought it really wasn't doing much so I wouldn't need it. It certainly is a handly, little device. I'd only get rid of it if I needed more room on the board for fuzz :smug:.

It's looking like my Pedaltrain Mini is going to go like this (in no specific order just yet):
Turbo Tuner
JHS Lime Aid
ISP Decimator
Phat Phuk
AGRO

I'll still have my Rat Tail and Bluebeard, but the fuzzes will be switched up depending on what I'm playing. I am still going to keep the Lime Aid for sale because I think the use of the compressor and my noise suppressor is kind of redundant. I know they do two different things, but I can live without a compressor. I need my noise suppressor, though.

VERY pretty sir! what's the two footswitch black box at the beginning of the chain?

That is my own made ABY box. (thank you Pedal Parts Plus...)

I got it in my head that having a clean channel and a separate dirty channel is a good solution for selective noise making. I mix em both together with the FEA mixer, or leave em separate depending on my mood. Usually, I switch back and forth.

I intend on trying a 2 channel looper one day instead of, or in addition to my current setup. :bassist:

Ok, so I finished my second board as well. The big one is my "Volvo" board; sturdy/reliable/drives well, but not very sexy. Also it holds a lot of Scandinavian stuff on there...not that Volvo is all that scandinavian anymore.

The two fx10:s are for adjusting different basses.

And, I know I posted this just a while ago but wanted to get them in the same post...sorry:

This then, would be the US-made sportscar...

For this weekend, here is the pedal layout I will be trying. I have the MXR last so I can control the final signal out. That is the spot where the future [sfx] Micro Thumpinator will be sitting.

The Flanger is in the TRS Insert of the Growler's channel 2. The Ekko 616 is new to the board. Since I had two of them on the guitar board, I figured I would try it out this weekend. It is kinda convenient having more than one Ekko sitting around. And if I am feeling the need for some bass chorus, I just turn on the modulation.
