Quality Amp??

Will you be leaving the rig at the church? I use a Shuttle 6.0 with a 212 cab.. I also have a 212 cab that I leave at home so every Sunday that I am playing I just bring my bass & the head. Both cabs are 8 ohms so if I ever needed to I could combine the two .. Consider the weight... at 50 do you really want to be lugging heavy gear around every Sunday? Believe me after a while it gets tedious..

A new 9.0 for $650 is pretty good.. The heads are excellent. You can also use the GB heads as headphone amps .. at home.. Say you had only one cab & you left it at church.. until you could get a decent cab for home.. you could use headphones on the Shuttles.. they do not require a speaker load...

Im really thinking the Shuttle 9. However, I went to GC today and they have a Markbass mini CMC121P for $741 out the door.
This could be cheaper initially until i get a second cabinet for church (they may already have one there) I dont know. The
shuttle would fix me up for a long time but the markbass might be easier? Markbass has no headpone jack or Ipod input.

Well after listening to many...................I went with the Genz Benz Shuttle 9 and the 4ohm 410 Uber cabinet. The crisp and punchy sound is so nice. You can hear the quality. It just seemed like the perfect fit for me. The cabinet is rated at 1000 watts which allows the shuttle to push the full 900 watts at 4ohm. I'm very impressed with the Genz Benz quality and really liked the comments on how great the customer service is. Oh...........made in America is important to me. Thanks for all your input.

Thanks for the info on the Markbass SactoBass!

So the Genz Benz 3 and 6 is out. Perhaps the Shuttle 9?

I really like your set up. It's probably just perfect for what I have in mind. Does it have a headphone jack? the price tag is up there, but I don't want to have to upgrade later. What do you think about the deal my friend found, listed above?

Genz Benz Shuttle 9 or Markbass F1 or F500?

there is a button on the Shuttle 3.0 and 6.0 to put the "attenuated" low end back in: Low Frequency Ext.

For the record, we did not attenuate the low end to go with our Shuttle cabs.
