Question about Trace Elliot V-Type head

Can someone explain to me the sound differences between these V-Type all tube amplifiers and Ampeg SVT-CL ?

they sound different
the V4 is fat and warm, and with proper eq ing can even sound quite hifi, but still fat and warm. the ampeg will give you the classic ampeg tone and not much more. i think for overdrive tones the ampeg might be better, but mind you when I crank the output tubes my V6 sounds glorious with a small amount of overdrive, just enough to have overtones jump of. then again, that might be my bass.
just buy that damn amp, you won't be disappointed, it's one of the all time great all tube bass amps.

Yeah, man! i stand with my fellow Belgian! Just buy it, you can always buy an ampeg later when you have the money (this will be way cheaper)!

The auction has ended a few minutes ago. My friend from Berlin has won for 706 euros. Now i have to whait until the amp will be shipped to my friend, then he will send it to me in Romania.
