quick lakland question

hey just quickly wondering 2 things... Thinking of ordering a JO4 skyline. Im wondering first off if the shape is the same as a fender jazz bass i know the DJ is a bit more offset and curvey. Main reason being i want to know if i could get a jbass pickgaurd and it will fit or not. Secondly do the skylines come with any form of case??? i know u can buy one for 140 bucks US. according to thier catalog. If it comes with a gig bag can i upgrade for like 50 bucks or w/e, and if it comes with nothing is the lakland case worth it or am i better off just buying a different case for it??

Thanks

Yeah what he said, A jazz bass pickguard wont fit, you have to buy one from jeannies, also, i believe that they come in a gig bag, mine did but i got it through vintage bass.com. You can ask them go to lakland.com and email them, they give quick and helpful responses

yea, every Skyline I've purchased did not come with any sort of case. I bought a Lakland gigbag with my last JO4 I bought but was highly disappointed in it especially with how much it cost. I've got a much nicer gigbag with much better padding I bought from the local Lakland dealer for half the price of the Lakland bag I bought.
