Pedaltrain was only used for that first show. I have moved the pedals off the board since, but they are still on top of the amp.I wager the cause of your issue as described is either the result of an out-of-phase condition or bad contact (likely in the combo Speakon jacks of the One10s when employed for 1/4" duty.)
I highly-recommend use of Speakon cables over the 1/4" options on both the BB800 and your two One10s, despite the existence of this option on the equipment. As the BB800 only has one Speakon out, you then would have no choice but to daisy chain, but this would no doubt be the better connector choice.
Also in the name of safety and best practice, I suggest relocation of your Pedaltrain board to the floor

Any news on the cabs? Video said late February? I'm very interested in the BB800, and pretty intrigued by the idea of the whole "system."
Updates and details probably this weekend. I want to try a few experiments at my next gig (Friday), then I will send my findings and observations along. This next gig, like last Friday, is another large hall/low volume/old folks two-stepping affair, so I wont have any higher-volume experience until a week from Friday when I'll unleash the BB800 and BF cabs with the rock band outdoors.
Sounds like the cabinets are out of phase. Propably the two speaker cables are wired in opposite phase. You can just switch the polarity of the other cable, or just use the speakon out and daisy-chain the cabinets. That's what I would do.
good catch Chief. defiantly sounds like a cab out of phase. that would not be noticeable with just one plugged in.
Good thinking on the cable. Easy enough to try a different one, see what happens. However, if not the cable or the cab wiring, then hmmm...
Could it be the way the jack's are wired on the BB800? Either way, the daisychaining works for either one 1/4" jack or the single Speakon.
Me too. I have always daisychained a single out put on all the amps I ever owned, so the reults of trying this on the BB800 surprised me. I will run more 'speriments this weekend.
Please do report back. Unless it's a mixed-up cable (which I suppose could happen), it's an interesting problem. Thx.

I used the BB800 last night as a power amp for a new Trace Elliot rig. The Trace Transit-B pedal fed the power amp in on the Quilter. Man, it sounded great, and took up no space!
I had the second gig with my BB800 last night and this time without an external pre. And even though the Quilter (to me) is considerably more mid-forward than the GK MB series amps I've been using for the last few years, the overall sound was amazing, very natural, smooth, and made me quite happy.
Had my 4th and 5th gigs today with my Quilter. Brought out some pedals for the first time. I've gone months without using them but wanted to try some break up in my sound for some tunes at low volume gig...and since it wasn't going to be loud I only brought one 10" cab. Sounded wonderful and impressed bandmates. I'm over the moon about it myself. We still had complaints that we were too loud. Next gig was across the street with 30 minutes between gigs. Just plugged in Quilter and pedals into house 410 and enjoyed the tones coming out out a higher volume. Can't wait to try to Audiokinesis cab and custom bass I'm building with this amp. Don't really care about using pedals but I had fun using them today. Pedalboard today had Korg Pitchblack tuner, Micro thumpinator, Seymour Duncan Studio Bass, Creation Audio Grizzly Bass, Catalinbread Wiio, Hotone volume pedal. I've got a Bjfe Blue Berry, VT Bass, EBS Unidrive and some others that I want to test now before I possibly sell them. I kept the amp flat and liked how it sounded when I occasionally punched in and out of the pedals. Looking forward to playing my P basses through this on gigs too; have only had my J so far. Today was a great day with the Quilter!

Tom, how did that new Trace cab sound? I'm in the market for a new small rig and it's definitely on my short list (along with the Quilter).
The Quilter has worked great for all my bass cabs. I'm very satisfied. Lots of power as well. Great sound.

I am super impressed with those little Trace cabs. Very even tonal balance, and a great mix of fullness, some roundness, and clarity. Plenty of high end for me, but they do not have the extreme sizzle or some of the "air" and "sparkle" at lower volumes, as they do not have a tweeter. Good slap tone when you hit it, though I am more of a fingerstyle player.
