R.I.P. Michael Crichton

OH NO!!!!

Michael Chrighton has always been in my top 5 of authors. I loved almost all of his books, (with the exception of sphere) and always looked forward to the next one.

I'd say my favorite of his is Timeline. Amazing book.

Eaters of the Dead is one of my fav books of all-time. The movie rocks also.

I saw the movie Jurassic Park before I ever read any of MC's books. Then I read the book Jurassic Park. Wow. The book was 10x better than the movie. It got me to read quite a few of his other books and I really enjoy his writing style and how there is always so much of a verisimilitude about the way the characters behave and how a storyline evolves.

I read this earlier today and was quite saddened by it.

I really liked Next, read it in one day (come to think of it, I read most of his books in two or three days). I always really liked his books, shame there wont be another one.

Never read Eaters of The Dead though, at least I still have that to look forward to.

He had a great way of injecting science and technology into suspenseful thrillers. I'll miss his work. I watched an interview with him once and finally realized just how intelligent he was.
