Someone was saying their old Boss multi was fritzing and it turned out to be an internal battery designed to save patches since flash memory wasn't always so cheap and readily available. This may be the problem here.

Time for a B2.1U... still cracks me up that they have an "MXR M-80" distortion choice on it.

In the interest of keeping the Zoom 506 (in my case the 506II) tradition alive, is anyone willing to share some of their most usable settings?
Years ago I had a brand new v.1 506 that was killed by a mosher at a garage show stomping on the PCB mounted output jack thus cracking the PCB,...
My bad for not protecting my gear,...but since that time I've always hated PCB mounted jacks. They are there because it's less expensive to have a machine do the work on mass produced pedals,...but the idea is just dumb to me because it just cheapens the quality of the pedal.
