Double Bass R. Strauss Ein Heldenleben full orchestral score?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a website where I could get the full orchestral score of this piece for free. I'd rather copy the bass part out of the full score rather than buy the book for one excerpt. I found the Mozart 35 public domain score (that was pretty easy to find, haha), but I can't seem to find this one. Should I just bite the bullet and buy the book?

You're totally going to need the actual bass part, for your eyes sake and your own mental health. It's pretty necessary to own the Strauss-Zimmerman book if you're working on the piece, it also usually gives you a good translation of the German texts.

I don't read from the full score, hahaha, I said I copy the bass part from it into Finale.

It's a single excerpt I want from each book, not the whole thing. Both of those books would have set me back a combined $40 plus shipping for two excerpts. I only want about a minute and a half of the music from each, haha.

I don't know if I'll actually be working on the pieces yet, as this is an audition for a pretty high level music festival orchestra. I hope that I will, and I think I have the potential, but I just spent a lot of money on books, and I'd just like to hold off on these for just a little longer.

An alternate option would be to buy the bass part from a publishing company. This would be my preferred choice to the Zimmerman books, but would get too expensive if I tried to get everything that's in the Zimmerman set. But if you only want one or two pieces, it really would be cheapest to buy the part itself.

Yo, Why not try your local public library or university music dept.
I mean doesn't Boulder have a local symphony?
