My old school rig is a MucicMan HD-130. LOL! But I also push a QSC RMX-850 with a Peavey T.B.Raxx pre and it is very flexible through a pair of 15s. Never even HEARD of a bad QSC amp. Good luck with this, it should be fun.

Good show! Unlike the earlier models (00's), this has selectable input sensitivity and HPF which will do the 30 hz thing.

Agreed - I have a pair of XLS 1500s I've used for either 4 monitors or 2 monitors and two tops on sticks, depending - and an XLS 2000 and XLS 2500 in my main PA amp rack for larger FOH job - they've all been very good performers and stone reliable

It hasn't made a difference with my XLS series poweramps - as long as I used TRS cables for 1/4" applications...
Yes and use the 1/4". The XLR can be used with known line-level devices including mixers. I believe the 1/4 input is labeled "Link / Out".

What does this mean? Or how do i know whats the correct setting for my TE pre-amps?
Your TE preamps should be able to fuel the Crown @ 1.4 which is pretty standard for a line-level device. Reminder: do use the 1/4" > 1/4" and crank the attenuators fully CW. This should give the desired linearity of response using the volume control on the preamp with a decent signal / noise ratio. The .775 option would be appropriate when coupled with lower output sources. That's a bit of over-simplification but it holds true.

Finally, the XLS 2002 got here today. So excited to hook it up and test...just to realize that i forgot to order the correct speaker cables... And the local shop didnt have them either. Few more days to wait then..

If you're cheap like me or have a tight-ish budget, I would look used. And, like most people, I'll recommend what I use, namely a QSC GX5...

Do you use a pedal preamp to drive it or a separate pre? From what I understand, some preamp pedals with a DI wont have enough signal for a power amp
