Radial JDI problem?

Got this in a PM... Hmmm...
I took my JDI apart tonight and found the problem. The XLR connector is soldered in after the circuitboard is installed into the housing. There are these slots in the circuit board so that the connector can be dropped in, slid into place and then soldered. The ground leg of the XLR connector was not making contact to a ground trace on the circuit board. The eyelet must have got damaged when the connector was soldered in. I ran a jumper wire and everything is good. You should take yours back if you still can or send it in for a warranty repair.
