Randall RB-125 thoughts

I saw an old Randall amp in my local music store, but the guy couldnt tell me very much besides the 1973 production year.

It's an RB-125 & RB-215 (125 watt head with a 215 cabinet)
Any opinions/ information?

I have an old R 215 BH cabinet. I sounds exactly like what it is ... a big, heavy 2x15. One of my all-time favorites.

Did I mention it's heavy ? A shade over 150 lb..

we used carry those in a music store that i worked at in 1973. the cabs were decent, but the heads left alot to be desired. a fender showman (85 watts) would put it to shame, both in volume and of course, tone. and showmans aren't all that powerful as a bass head.

Would snagging the whole stack for 80 bucks be worth it?

if it all works, at that price, i think that it would be easily worth it.
