Try almonds instead. Much lower fat and calories.

i like walnuts and almonds, pecans and sometimes macadeamia nuts. when i'm in the mood, a handful of lightly salted cocktail peanuts really hits the spot.

btw, as the others have said, peanuts aren't actually nuts. just sayin'...

Been there. I can't buy the shelled ones anymore because that will happen. With the shells on, once the shells brim a cereal bowl I know to stop. Plus the shells start to hurt my lips and fingers at about that time, creating a closed-loop negative feedback system. Self limiting.

Is it me or are hazelnuts a weird third choice? I mean...what does a hazelnut even look like? How about pistachios, walnuts, or macadamias?
