Rant: Phrases that burn you up!

I tend to ask them how often they listen to "everything". I don't mind if you have wild and varied tastes, but if I ask you what sort of music you listen to, I'd rather just be told their favourite genres or bands. "Everything" is definitely a conversation stopper.
"Yummy'.
Yeah I hate that word. This dude at work says "yummy delicious". First of all when you utter the word yummy any other positive thing to say about the food that is tacked on is for no good reason.

Skit, as it is spelled in Swedish and used in the same way as the English version of the word is not considered a profanity. In fact, it's just another word for "crap". Isn't the terribly bad s-word also a synonym to crap? I just don't get why of of them is bad, the other not...
So you can easily say "Holy crap", but you can't say "Holy S***". I find that rather strange. I find both phrases rather amusing, but I can also imagine that being rather offensive to some people. I've even met a religious woman who took offense when I said the swedish version of OMG (Herregud) when I was a bit upset about a certain thing.

The other night I go to use the bathroom.the doors locked I knocked and my neice yells out "I'm taking a crap!" I suppose she thought it sounded more polite than "I'm taking a s*#@!"
