Rare vintage Takamine

I just spotted this on Ebay, coming from Japan. I play a Takamine B-10 (from before they changed it to TB-10), and I lived and gigged in Japan for a number of years, but I've never seen one like this. I'm guessing it predates the B-10, which I believe came out in about '87, built along the same lines. Anyone know anything about this model? The ad doesn't include any model info.

This is prima facie evidence that not "everything is on the internet." If no one uploads it, it ain't there. Try to find something on the Vega copy of the Martin EB-18, or a first-generation Harry Fleishman Compact Bass, or an Epiphone Embassy Deluxe with a 2+2 headstock.

Information on this instrument almost certainly exists. It just is not accessible.
