I like the top one. The newer edit with the pattern might be a little busy, IMHO, but it's still cool.

Honestly, If I was going to invest in the cosmetics of a Bass like that I would strip the clear off of the head stock and have it stained to match the body. That's always been my biggest issue with owning a "P"
The matching head, would out weigh any logo IMO and a decent cabinet shop could probably do it for a decent price if you weren't up to it

I definitely agree that it would be nice to have the HS match the body. The good news is that it's an oil finish, so no stripping necessary. Only problem is matching the color.

It wouldn't have to be perfect, with the fret board in between them, a minor variation would go unnoticed.

Just want to say, I really detest this font. It's a font I'd see on the back of a boat that says "This is the life!" or something cheesy like that. No offense if you do have a boat with that on it. But at least it isn't comic sans.
