I like this one

It doesn't offend me at all. I made the first joke:D
Just curious about acronyms.

:D gotcha man.

Seriously tho, to the OP, they all look like bad 70's "disco" and 80's "smooth jazz" fonts, which is to say they look pretty horrible and extremely dated. As in white blazer and blue trousers dated. And combined with the fossil pic, it just really clouds up the headstock in an unattractive way. The "idea" deserves more than the default font library that comes with Excel of whatever engraving program comes with the machine...you'd do better to research some real cool and new fonts, pay for said font set, and go from there.

Just want to say, I really detest this font. It's a font I'd see on the back of a boat that says "This is the life!" or something cheesy like that. No offense if you do have a boat with that on it. But at least it isn't comic sans.

No worries if you hate my boat motto. ;)

I was thinking qft = quite f***ing true. I guess I had the general idea. :D

One person finds attractive what another finds hideous, isn’t opinion a wonderful thing?

As far as the fonts being dated, well, I don't know if you can get more dated than the Fender or Gibson fonts. Those logos are still in use, have gone unchanged for decades, and people love them. Retro vibe is exactly what I'm going for anyway. I don’t want anything that looks sterile or lifeless.

I'm interested to know what exactly makes them Fender clones? Only 2 of those fonts are even close to Fender’s. I think it’s gonna be hard to avoid looking like a Fender when the headstock is almost the same.

I’m sure it’s evident, but I’m no artist or graphic designer. I’m learning gimp as I work on this project. I didn’t even know how to crop an image with that program when I started, but I think I’ve learned a lot since a few days ago. I can’t draw to save my life, I would have drawn my own lettering and pic then scanned it to .jpeg otherwise. As such, I’m stuck searching for things that I know very little about trying to personalize a very blank and dull headstock.

I've got an idea. How about anyone who has poo-pooed my fonts offer a font that YOU like. I am open to suggestions, that’s the point of this thread.
