I love Ampeg, but I'm not a huge fan of epiphone basses. I'd give the amp rig an 8 because the cab probably doesn't put out a lot. But hey, its a hell of a lot better then mine :]

Dang bro, you've got to hear one of these cabs. Put out? I was dumping my Carvin R1000 bridged mono (1000 watts @ 4ohms) into my Avatar 410 and it was literally destroying the practice room.

I love the color. I wish mine was white. I got blonde at the time before white was available. Blonde matches my bass better though.

That Ampeg on top of the Avatar looks terrible.. I'm sure it sounds great, but it looks like death

Just got my avatar cab. no ones said anything on the avatar thread, just want some opinions on what to do next?

i love the sound i'm getting out of this simple setup. anyone know anything i can do for distortion and delay?

on a scale of 1 to 10, i'd say thats a killer rig

Bit of a hodgepodge, isn't it? If it works for you, then it's awesome, but to be quite honest, I would be more than a little concerned about phasing issues. I would have to hear it before I gave it a rating, but since it's your rig, your opinion is the only one that matters, so whatever you rate it, just put me down for the same rating
