So I did cancel my order of the Monarch, but received the JHS Moonshine V2 clone. Gave it a lil paint job, and it may be the best work I’ve done yet!

Ryan also took the liberty of adding a 3rd toggle switch option to bypass the Diodes and it brings out even more low end.

Sounds just as good as the original, AND it’s got top jacks.

Chef’s kiss right here, guys!

RCO Fans!

I asked Ryan from RCO Pedals to create a clone of the Sonny & Sanford Bluebeard! I received it yesterday and it is killer! I hope to post sounds or a video soon, but it is as good if not better than this video.


Ryan added a blend knob for dry signal blend. It also has a three way toggle to switch the diodes. Up is a stock symmetrical silicon diode (Green Russian BMP), middle is diode lift that rips (Red LED), and down is an asymmetrical Schottky diode.

I preferred the smaller enclosure and stamps instead of labels. Adding the blend control required the larger enclosure.

There are diff kinds of blends like buffered blend and boosted blend etc.. I just messaged him to see if he’d make any more.

I reached out to Ryan about the skeptical buffer, and he agreed to build one for me. He let me pick the enclosure color. It turned out great at a very reasonable price.

This replicates the best part of the EUNA. I don't want to buy it from 29, and it's not even about the cost. My trouble with the EUNA is it's way too big for what it does, contains an effects loop feature of no use to me, and has this fancy power input I don't need. So I'm getting the buffer function I want in a normal sized pedal.

If 29 ever offers the buffer function in a normal sized pedal, I'd gladly buy it instead.
