Real or fake rickenbacker

Are you messaging someone who works at Southside Guitars in Brooklyn? That appears to be the backdrop they use in all their postings. If so, they’re legit. I’d call them.

*edit Just looked on the Southside site and saw the bass. They’re a legit shop. I’d call and speak to someone in person about the bass.
$6000? its not worth that. If it had checkerboard binding and full inlays it would be. I had a late 73 and it didnt sound like I remembered my 72.
 
This one I had was pretty accurate (the tuners being the dead giveaway!).

The answer was legitimate, as the bass has no inputs...

That *is* pretty good! They were so happy with the job they did on the body that they must've gotten lazy when it came time for the headstock.

Yeah, they really screwed up the lower cutaway, and the control locations, too :rollno:
