Looks legit to me. I dont know enough about pre ebmm. But everything looks right. Usually fakes are way easy to spot. The decals are always in the wrong places...

Looks like the real deal to me. I've yet to see a fake that even gets the headstock shape right, much less everything else that looks spot-on there. Awesome deal!
Forum rules used to require a supporting membership in order to ask for values. Not sure if that is still in effect or not but I didn't want to find out the hard way.
It is, and In my experience somone told a moderator I was intentionally disobeying it, and I was issued Two warning points. 1 for disobeying a rule. 2 for intentionally doing it because I was told I could not.
If you're not going to buy this could you PM me the link as I want it.
I usually find those that ask around this much end up missing out on the deal.

Starting bid was .99, but at the time this thread was started the bid was $500. I think someone was confused as to how ebay works.

Seriously? Were you selling or buying? You are allowed to get price quotes for items you are thinking of buying without supporting membership. You only need a membership if you intend of selling the item, since the "price check" reads like a FS ad.
There were a few threads about six months ago where Chef and another moderator discussed it, I cannot remember the name of the threads (one was somebody asking for a price quote.)
Off topic kind of. I try to stay completely out of pricing. What's stopping someone from posting a pic of their own bass saying, "I'm thinking about buy this, what's it worth?"
