A Rumble 40 weighs 15 pounds and is a pretty decent sounding amp, with enough power for a small gig. It's my choice for traveling light. I can carry mine on the rear rack of my bicycle, so a trailer should be no problem.
If you need something even smaller or with more power, the Traynor SB106 is a little pricey, but tiny and light with tons of power. It also has a speaker output so you can use it as a monitor and power a larger cab. It's basically a 200w head with a small speaker.
I also have a Joyo Mini bass amp. For the price it's a great, small practice amp that would work well in a trailer. But I'm guessing you want more oomph
SB106 – Traynor Amps
Compared to some of the other amps mentioned here, I think the Rumble 40 would take up way too much room in a trailer, but that little Traynor is a great idea. I tried one in a store and was blown away by its power and tone. Another one to consider would be the Markbass 801.
