I have the ultimate bass.
It has the following set up;
One Warwick machine head from Jack Bruce.
One from Jaco, one from the Ox and one from Mo foster. A string from each of the artists attached. 36 inch scale with fanned frets up to the 12th fret. The rest is Fretless.
100 year old fretboard made from an old up right.
The neck is the same radius as a p bass up to the octave , fretless and a jazz up to the 26th.
The pick ups are all moveable like on Leo’s bread board testing unit. They are a P and j style, 2 soap bars and an optical. All tied into a Warwick 2 piece bridge plunged into an Ampeg cabinet.
What would it sound like and would the previous owners presence be heard?
