I'm looking to upgrade the dual jazz mec pickup and/or the onboard preamp. Any suggestions? I want something a little more aggressive or bright. The streamer is a '97 and is all wenge on the neck. I also have an FNA from '99 (ovankol/wenge) that has a unmarked MM and apparently Basslines preamp and it sounds amazing. Really clear and growly. Any suggestions?
