Those Ovation Magnum I’s with that proprietary hardware looks like the reason players started asking for weight! That thing looks HEAVY.

I don’t know what these sell for but they definitely have a high “cool factor”!

I'm not super in love with shortscales but I'm admittedly also not familiar with Serek. Most what I've seen though seemed to be pretty in the same vein as a boutique Fender but I could be totally ignorant

I second Sereks! Own a Lincoln myself!!! They are more boutique Rickenbackers and Gibsons as opposed to FSOs! Top notch quality and a DREAM to play!

Howdy yall!
Just sold my '05 Ric on the verb and got the itch for something weird.

I've got:
Dingwall NG3
'77 4001 Ric
'62 AVRI Jazz
'11 AMStand Jazz

Been thinking Ovation Magnum I or II, Roland G77, or something else. I have about 2k to drop and a hankering for something not covered by what I have. Are DROCs by Dingwall different than NG3's?

I would love to have a Magnum.

Crucianelli Elite! Incredibly playable and sounds amazing. New neck several years ago by Superman luthier Bruce Johnson…Check out the controls.. Individual sliders for each pickup or both plus an off slider for when you do your Beatles bow at the end of the show!

Yamaha SBV-500. Neckdive for days, but in style Also nice tones, not far from Jazz Bass'ish really, so definitely usable. I've been seriously GASsing for one for some years already. One day.
