I really like Riverside. I just started getting into them a couple of months ago.

I don't know if I would throw Gojira into the Progressive category, but I do really like them. They have hints of other genres while remaining unique.

Also, Dick Lovgrens 'other' band, Time Requiem. He plays finger style and it's all sweeping arpeggios and scales. Very different to Meshuggah.

I'll have to check out some of these other bands. I'm a huge prog fan and a big metalhead, so prog metal theoretically ought to be just exactly my thing, but a lot of the prog metal bands I've tried just don't do it for me.
