Using the word "upgrade" in any ad is a red flag to me.
Well, it has obviously been modded to be a PJ. Also, shouldn't a '76 have a 3 bolt neck?
Not sure if I would say the GZRs are "coveted" considering they're quite widely available. Also, I wouldn't consider swapping them in as a way to get back to "the classic sound". Passive sure, but I would think the idea of a "classic" sound is pretty open to interpretation, and folks usually swap in aftermarket pups to get away from any sort of a "classic" sound.
I'm not an expert, but shouldn't a '76 have the serial number on the headstock?
The first red flag was that this appeared on CL.
I’m pretty sure 76 was the transition point from the old headstock decal to the new, serial on the headstock. I believe some early 76’s can still have the old headstock.
Regardless, it’s a heavily modded 76. No red flags. Just overpriced.

No, that's only the Jazz.
But you're right about the mod, no such thing as a Fender PJ in '76.
The description says it previously had a Jazz pickup set. So there was once a second Jazz pickup near where the P is now.

That is a precision bass body and a precision bass neck, though.
Therefore, it should also have precision bass neck screws.
"(Zoo Area)" is the 2nd red flag, after "Fender".
It's not a bad looking bass, but you could get a very similar active brand new American Ultra for the same money or a passive Player Plus for a grand less. Either would be a better bet IMO.
