Red or Amber?

I like the amber even though it borders on orange.

I prefer the red as a new finish like my Gretsch G2220 and the amber as a aged not as shiny with maybe some light relic work that would look like my '73 P.

If those are the choices, I would pick the red. And I'm not so much a fan of red basses.
The other is too orange for me.

The dark trans red is very cool and very adaptable to different color combinations. The orangish amber is very limited in what will go well with it. I like the red myself.

Yep. I want something in between that and a "natural."
