Good points. Maybe since I have a couple really good basses and don't really NEED another I could spend some (more) money on DI's. the JDI wasn't cheap at $199, but it's not $700+ either.

Did you play any songs with the band while ABing? Because that whole REDDI high-note heaviness I go on and on about doesn't always make itself apparent when ABing it with another DI by yourself. But a little extra richness? I'll take it!
The REDDI is amazing... Im not bragging at all.. but i have to be honest here. I have been blessed to work with some top dogs in the bizz by luck..Rock and pop some country and recent metal guys... Some are Grammy winning engineers and producers..Im just a workin joe....
Each time i brought the REDDI to a session of a gig.. they wind up buying one... and it replaces whatever their other DI was... It is that good... I think its teh Iron...
Noticing that you use Westone IEM's isn't helping to keep me from trying a REDDI - even though I have my little Nano IEM/DI board all set and working great...
