If my REDDI gets damaged, I will fix it. If it gets damaged and it's unfixable, I will buy a new one. Till then it goes everywhere I go, unless it's for sure a stage-volume gig.

I have a road case for it so its easy to transport... But I hate to waste a good thing on a bar gig for drunk people if my bass is going through some crummy PA. With dancing chicks on stage spilling their drinks. I dont want to risk it...
When i go on the road or do these gigs where i can spread the REDDI love. I take it with me..

i can totally dig that, if someone spilled a drink on my REDDI it might get ugly. However, I only play those type of gigs so I would never get any REDDI love for myself so i have to take it. Luckily we don't have any dancing on stage with us,,,, because the stages are so dang small!!!!

I wish I could justify a REDDI. They sound great, but I only play at church 2-3 times a month and I have my tuner, IEM and JDI all on a little Nano. So handy. A REDDI would be all that plus I'd still need the tuner/mute and IEM box.

I like Radial DIs and I even own a JDI, but the REDDI is in a different universe playing a different sport in a whole 'nother ballpark. If you can't justify it, then that's cool but you're only depriving yourself... and anyone else who happens to be listening.

Yep. And my favorite retailer made me a very nice offer on a brand new one when I was poking around and researching them...

As I used to say referring to the tab when drinking with "the gang" on a Saturday night - you can't put a price on a good time...or I suppose good tone.

What about phantom power? I thought I read that the REDDI doesn't react well with it and on occasion when we come to church people have messed with the board and I'd hate to see an accidental dose of phantom power do damage.
