Yes sir.
Packing now. Flight out of Hartford tomorrow morning at 8 am. Now that it's less than24 hours away, it's starting to hit: We're actually doing this! Dr B, who has significant tour experience, has been a great help. He's called the airline about carrying on instruments, rented us a van to get us from Grand Junction to Ridgway (not Ouray as first advertised...next town over...), and generally found ways to lessen anxiety. "OMG! What if they lose our instruments in baggage!" Etc. I have an Epiphone copy of a Hofner beatle bass waiting in case something goes wrong. I'm threatening to play it left-handed on the couple Beatle tunes we play. 
I'm not taking the Birdsong on this trip; as someone posted here a while back, you'd be crazy to travel with a one-of-a-kind instrument. The Fender Jazz (It's a '93 MIJ with a 32" scale) will do just fine. If you've seen the recent gig pix, I used it all weekend, just to get re-aquainted.
I'm not sure what kind of connectivity I'll have in Colorado, but I promise there will be pictures at some point.

How exciting, Bunk! You must be like a kid on Christmas day! Your friends out here in TB-land have been waiting for this as well, so we look forward to hearing about your journey. Please try to take as many pictures as possible among the craziness. We're looking for as close to an @BassCliff accounting of your trip as possible!

We’re in Grand Junction, CO. Kinda smokey here—they have several wildfires working in the vicinity. We’re staying here tonight, then off tomorrow to Ridgway.

Wish that I saw your post earlier, I live in Grand Junction and would have loved to see this in person! You'll love Ridgway, hope that you brought bathing suits because there's a great outdoor hot springs pool in Ouray about 15 minutes away.
From the looks of the place it doesn't seem like there's a band for at least 200 miles in the area.. No wonder they have to fly in you guys ... I'd love to see a video of this gig... please sir.
