Ken McKay,
I've tried to PM you three times, but my browser might not be doing that right. I am not able to confirm "sent" and I have nothing in my inbox, so I'm relatively certain you didn't get the PM. I'd still like to see George's 4/4 plans. I'm trying to get this figured out, so please bear with me. Got a rehearsal. Probably won't be back on line until Sunday AM.
Bwulf, I always thought the laminated gun stocks were for looks or economy. Learn something new everyday. I'd think the finish on those would inhibit the moisture from getting in or out, sort of like on the electric guitar bodies that are laminated. If you bared the wood on one side and got it wet, that might change the stability of it.
