Double Bass Reg Kehoe and His Marimba Queens

I sent the link to a friend of mine in England, who is also an Academy Award winning documentary film maker. He came back with this. Anyone know of it:

"Have you ever seen the 1948 British film "Easy Money"?

The film with Edward Rigby as the bass player in a Gainsborough production,*directed by Bernard Knowles, screenplay by Sydney and Muriel Box. It's a portmanteau about football pools with four separate stories about winners that are not connected except by real-life footage of backstage at the pools company. In one episode A double bass player in a symphony orchestra wins the pools and in exchange for helping out the financially strapped orchestra the bass players are now allowed to play at the front of the*orchestra!*

The film is now totally forgotten, but I remember it when I was just into my teens."
