Does this pedal cut through the mix super well? I've liked the sound of a big muff but it just never sounds good in the mix for my ears and it always seems to get lost. It also sounds kind of dull to my ears.
I play worship music (hillsong type of stuff) at a big church and I love to incorporate effects into songs and put my own spin on them. I also play in a rock band (led Zeppelin meets arctic Monkeys kind of vibe) and I use fuzz as an always on for about a quarter of the songs. So im not looking for anything that will be way too over the top or too grungy or metal type. My style of playing is very new pop sounding with old school influence. Switchfoot is one of my favourite bands and I love the bass lines on their stuff.
I already have a muff which I want to replace then I have a zvex mastotron so I am not looking for anything too similar to it.
Sorry to derail anything if I did! Im also really tired so sorry if I missed anything in this thread. I am just wondering if anyone would recommend this pedal to me or if you have any other recommendations then feel free to throw them at me in a pm to keep this on topic. Thanks.
