Rejoice B:Assmaster Fans!

Glad there's interest in my pedal, you guys. Thanks for checking it out. Sorry about my crappy video with just the camera mic for audio. I'm terrible at that kind of thing, and very uncomfortable talking too. Luckily Paul (and since, other people) have posted better demos/videos.

I've been using it on tour with Beck since we had a working proto (a handful of sporadic US West Coast festival shows and a South American tour last month) and it's pretty much decimated the PA when I kicked it on. Such fun. For me, I'm just glad we made it with enough gain and enough low end, and still having that B:assmaster touch sensitivity and interesting filter envelope. It's a very particular sonic footprint for a fuzz, so some of you might not find it to be a "flexible" piece. That's not it's job. It's meant to do it's particular color at reasonable levels, or at levels which ruin people's lives who are standing next to the subs.

For that purpose, I hope you enjoy it. :)

Justin

well, as someone who always wanted to try a b:assmaster but was put off by the sheer size of the thing, I'm definitely going to try a diabolik :)

plus, I love fuzzes that really ADD lows to the signal, instead of just relying on a blend... sounds like the diabolik will pair nicely with my W&C tall font russian

Some of your riffs were super cool, though, so there is a bright side. Nice pedal. Enjoying what I hear so far...price is not bad, either. Heard a lot worse that costs a lot more.

do you know what the squish does exactly? when rolled back completely, the fuzz control has no effect. so it's not just tone, is it? otherwise yeah, very easy to dial in a tone. much more than on the muff based pedals!
