Rejoice B:Assmaster Fans!

Since you own both, do you ever feel yourself reaching to tweak the switches that aren't on the Diabolik? I imagine it wouldn't directly replace the B:assmaster, but do you feel like they are dissimilar enough to run both on a pedal board at once?

I'll be using both, for sure. The Diabolik has the switch preset that I tend to use most, anyhow. The added low end heft has actually made it replace my Depth Charge. They're different enough to justify both and besides, I have a particular fondness for my old, beat-up Swankbox B:Assmaster on Hollows.

I'm not an addict, I can quit ANYTIME! ;)

Just received my Diabolik. Here's a pic of it with it's older siblings.
Super happy with it thus far. At that price It's hard to beat.

how different is this from a Prescription Electronics Depth Charge?

Pretty different. The Depth Charge has an inherent "fizziness" to it, plus is noisy with a lot of power sources. The Diabolik has the beefiness that the Depth Charge has, but is contains the character, saturation, and gating of the Malekko B:Assmaster. It's a WONDERFUL fuzz, and UNBEATABLE at it's price point!
