I'll just end the topic here. The replacement bass is fantastic thanks for all the comments and opinions.

Best move, I have been on the receiving end of some of these posts, it's like feeding time in the shark tank. Every time you answer, it's like bleeding in the water. Happy that you are happy with your new bass. Hoping someday I can afford a higher end bass.

Where's the love? The original bass had flaws that he thought he could live with but other issues came up and it became too much. I won't judge him for not returning it right away and I would also have returned it if it became too much for me at some point. I am glad you got the bass you should have gotten in the first place. Enjoy!
