I like a little when I play solo, but I don't use reverb a lot in a live situation but when I do its usually for slower tunes and ballads. I use a Keeley caverns, it has delay also and they both sound great!

I don't often use reverb on bass, but when I do, HX Effects is my go to.
I have an Afterneath that works well for underscoring - I can use it to "paste over" the spaces left when I do swells - it makes a good pad/atmospheric vibe realtively easy to do on bass. Use when driving a tune, it, like most reverbs, can destroy the vibe totally. Gotta know that.
That's the beauty of the HX FX, I can endlessly browse.I feel like if this is your answer you really need to specify which model is your go to.
i use reverb sparingly, on some solo/lead/melody stuff. i don't think my use of reverb causes me to be too picky or overthink it. i got a "holy grail - nano" off of CL for $50. i'm set for life, live. it's simple and effective.
reverbs that I love, that haven't been mentioned already:
mr black super moon
Neunaber wet
OBNE rever/minim
Boss RV-3
Digitech hardwire supernatural
