My favourite movie of all time! It's a bit from "My Cousin Vinnie" where Joe Pesci mispronounces "youth" with a heavy New York accent.
They used a Schaller 3D on the 4004 and also the 4003S5.2 SCHALLER BRIDGES
much better than the cumbersome Rickenbacker tailpiece
(I prefer the stock Ric 4001/4003 bridge/tailpiece, though.)
The answer is because; I've no idea what this offers over a single-neck 5-string, other than for show. Why?
I was wondering if the string spacing was less than the 400S5, but it looks like the neck is wider.I noticed that too. Is it possible they just used the 4 string pickups?
