I dig it. Fits the more is more aesthetic of Sleep's stage plot. I know there's a few Al uses the 5er on, so maybe they want to jam a couple tunes together and not have to stop to switch. Usually the 4 is C std and the 5er has been standard BEADG.

I dearly love my 4003AC, but I have tried no less than 3 times to get through an entire Sleep song...

I can see myself playing this type of music, but I just can't listen to it....

It's better than prog rock though...

Played one of the 4 strings….garbage. recently played a 5….garbage.
Both felt like they weren’t finished. Quality was cheap and craftsmanship was not good at all. Majorly disappointed.
Had high hopes for the 5 string.

If your benchmark for your favorite music is 3.5 minute pop/rock/country radio stuff, obviously Sleep isn't going to be for you.

If you want to bathe in soundwaves and chugging riffs while achieving a meditative state, Sleep might be for you.
