Exactly. That's why I'm thinking Waters after Paul.
Floyd was huge, their songs are still being use today in pop culture.

this is probobly the most innacurate post i've ever seen on TB! no offence to you, but infering that paul mccartney is not a "real" bass player is just not right..and more on topic, if you think michael anthony is one of the richest bass players in the world your out of your mind. his career lasted a fraction of the amount of time that mccartneys did, and what do you pay to see him in concert now, as compared to paul mccartney, whos career started in the early 1960s?

Here's a few more I looked up (in no particular order). Sir Paul eclipses all of them.
Paul McCartney - $700 million
Les Claypool - $45 million
Roger Waters - $75 million
Sting - $290 million
Flea - $115 million
Steve Harris - $60 million
Dusty Hill - $55 million
John Paul Jones - $60 Million
Geddy Lee - $28 million
The dude with the 250k jens Ritter.

How can that be possible? The guy can sell out a stadium? Has no hit records? That cant be correct.

How can that be possible? The guy cant sell out a stadium as far as i know? Has no hit records? That cant be correct.
And that's prolly largely from ONE song, "My Best Friend"
Harvey Mason
Omar Hakim
John Bonham
Steve Gadd
...and so many more.

How many stadiums can you fill up even half way?
He also doesn't produce for other artists much (if at all), and isn't a prolific songwriter...(thinking as I write)...South Park! He's probably getting South Park royalties.

but still thats not gonna get ya to $45 Million. Some of my associates write for some major TV productions on TV each week.. They have money but not $45 million type money.
