It's a one-off, not likely going to matter much to anyone else than the person who buys it. The pick guard shape is a salute to the original Rick bass, the early 4000.

Wasn’t ric selling these one offs on eBay a number of years ago ? And if I remember correctly , no one on talkbass actually bought any on them ?

My friend bought 2 or 3 of these "one offs'., and he is here on TB, as well as FB page.
One had bad QC issues and a small crack in the body....and they just so happened to have another one almost ready to go so swapped him. (so they probably really only make "one").

TBH I think there are far more people on the FB Ric page than here.

I like it. Schaller roller, retro style guard, non-horseshoe pup for removable cover, face dots only, cool paint job. Can't tell if the fretboard is bubinga or cherry (or whatever), but if it's gloss-finished, I'd like it even more. Checker'd binding would be icing on the cake.

It's dual truss rod and the board is in fact finished.

Fit and finish on it is perfect, didn't even touch the action it was set up so well out of the box, has sustain for days
