Rickenbacker Made In USA sticker

I'm thrilled to find out that there are others who feel that the Flag Sticker is simply NUTS! I sometimes feel that i might just be losing my mind as I've firmly landed in my "Golden Years"......and become a highly-opinionated old goat......but that Flag thing makes me want to jump out of my window. It's almost as bad as those who purchase a 4003 and then tear off the pickup cover!!! I want to follow them home, rescue the bass, replace the cover so the bass stops crying... and then burn down their house!!! Here I am just moments after purchasing my 4003S-5 ...... a bass I didn't think I'd like. I wouldn't TOUCH the bass until my pal Eric removed the sticker....which he promptly stuck to my forehead. I haven't bathed in 8 weeks now. I'm not touching that thing!!!

Thanks for keeping the Cover on, Glenn. Several Home Insurance Companies now have Detectives following me around 24X7 . I think I need to see a good Therapist who Deals in Flag Decals.

Since recently, I own a used Rickenbacker 4003, but it came without the infamous “Proudly made in USA” pickguard sticker. In contrary to the popular opinion, I actually like the sticker on the pickguard as i think it completes the genuine rickenbacker appearance.

To replace it, I’ve contacted a seller on Ebay who sells aftermarket stickers, but he only ships within the US, and I am based in The Netherlands (Europe). Does any of you know a store that sells and ships Rickenbacker pickguard stickers within Europe or anyone who has a sticker to spare and willing to sell/send it to me?

They used different sized and shaped stickers, depending era/year. When was your 4003 made?

It's a small but significant detail if you're looking for authenticity.

Good point, I actualy did not know that. My 4003 was made in 2000, looking up pictures of the same model online, I see it supposetly has a rectangular "Made in the USA" sticker". But I like the newer oval stickers just as much.
