So when this thread began (Sept 7) I googled the company and ordered a pair that night. Today (Oct 1) I got an email saying they shipped. Not sure where they shipped from or what carrier they are using. Time will tell.

They all look like generic Chinese made sneakers you see on ebay and Reverb at twenty or thirty bucks a pair. Though I guess the price at least doubles for having Rickenbacker stenciled on them. Are the leather look skater types genuine plether?

I guess, if you're really into Ricks and want to pay to advertise for them.... (I never got the wearing brand names in big lettering thing, it used to be that companies paid people to be walking billboards, but now we pay them for the privilege.)
