That question has already been answered. And seeing how I've never owned a Rickenbacher (only played one once at GC) but have read about them on TB (which makes me an expert ) I couldn't imagine one being the best for metal, so why would their shoes? But - YMMV, caveat emptor, and never eat yellow snow. You're welcome.
